I installed the Generic text print driver to print files to a file. The test of the printer worked fine. However when I use the printer friendly option on a tabular data file from a web page, the print to generic file printer provides only the end of file entry, no data is sent. This occurs when using IE and Firefox.
I can print PC resident reports from Excel and other apps to file. Does any one have any idea why web tables cannot print to file printer but will print to a networked or local printer ? Hard copy.
