PrintOut Method of Document in VBA

By satlmark ·
I have template in Word that gets filled out through VBA code, and I am trying to program print out of the document on both sides of paper, so if 30 document generated user doesn?t have to change properties each of them. However, I could not changeprinter properties through the code, I can only change active printer.
I would appreciate any ideas.

PrintOut Method of Document in VBA

Boy, you'd think that would be an easy one, but for some unknown reason, it's not.
If you type the following in the address box of I.E., you'll find an article that does it with VB:

MSKB Q230743

That's VB, by the way, not VBA.
You could write a macro using send keys (doesn't work very well).
I remember years ago getting an HP code book and embeding print code fields, but I don't see that done much any more.
Probably the easiest way is to have two Printer drivers, one set to duplex. You can record the code to do that. Or type this in

MSKB Q202017

for the code to change the active driver.
Good luck
