Problem: I started to have low fps

Hi Everyone,

At the beginning of this week I started to have low fps. I already formatted my pc 2x and nothing. I used to have 50-90 fps on the csgo low 720p but now I have 10-30 fps. The cpu and gpu are at normal temperatures. It affects all games like CSGO, Valorant, Minecraft, Overwatch…My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad S145-15API. It has less than 1 year of life. I already installed the drivers i need.
Specs: CPU – Amd Athlon 300u / GPU (integrated) – Vega3 / Ram – 2x4GB 2400

From what I read about that model laptop, it is not a gaming computer by any stretch and it is on the low-budget side for cost. I am not sure there is much you can do to make it work faster after reformatting it already. In fact, the manufacturer may not consider it a factory defect. Even the product description mentions that it was designed to be a low-budget office computer.

IMHO, your best option would be to buy a more robust computer designed with more intensive graphics specifications.

Makes me unsure if you are legit.

Anyhow, on such low-end gear there’s little to be done and frankly there are thousands of “low FPS” discussions already which I can’t repeat for you. Google that.

-> But I won’t leave you without sharing a setting that has helped many times which is “Disable Hardware Acceleration” in your Browsers and Discord. Why this helps is that the low end GPU just doesn’t have much to share so get it focused on the game. Be sure to use google on how to change this setting.
