Problem opening IM’s

I got Bagel’d about a month ago and it got my Linksys Router and my computer. I had to reload Win 98SE. Now I can’t open any of the IM’s(Yahoo, AOL & MSN Messengers). I checked my security settings against another computer that uses the same OS and they now match but the problem still exists. Any suggestions? I’m moving across the country and use them a lot to keep in touch with my friends and family. Thanks
