Problem sign in into hotmail!!!!!!

Recently,my company has problem to sign in into hotmail through proxy connection but can sign in through dial up connection.Can anyone rectify what’s the problem??Is it proxy setting or else??
my company using Windows XP and critical updates,service pack have already been updated.I would appreciate if anyone can help me.
