Problem viewing PDF files

i have problem viewing pdf files in reader 6. some part of the file appear as garbage. no problem viewing the document on acrobat 5.0. and it’s all on the same machine. printing that document is ok too. any idea wat’s the problem??

I have found same results with abreader 6. the problem seems to be related to the combination of windows version, IE version, and what else is running as processes. For example if I am using win98 and ie5.05 with no antivirus guard it works fine, with either ie6 or antivirus guard on it crashes. On the other hand, if I use win2k and ie6 it works regardless of whether antivirus is running or not but if I use win2k and ie5.x it fails. By the way win2k with zonelabs firewall seems to stop abrdr6 all the time. The abrdr5 has none of these difficulties.

I suggest uninstalling all Adobe readers and the install only Adobe6. Also running reader 6.x and Acrobat 5.x (full version) is nothing but hassle.
