I have a client that has Windows 98 and Office 2000. She has been getting quite a lot of invalid page faults from Office products lately and this is the latest one. This one occured while she was working with an Excel document in Binders. I have asked her for more information and I will post that when I get it. EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module EXCEL.EXE at 017f:3003610e.
What could the root of these faults be? I’ve ran a diagnostic on the system and the memory but it comes back fine… I’ve removed office and reinstalled it, I’ve installed Windows 98 over itself to replace the files but these things still pop up. I may end up just putting Windows 2000 on the computer but I sure would like to know what is causing this…. I’m just one of those people I guess.
