Good Afternoon,
I have a small problem with our new productive progress database. While testing on our Win2k Server platform, we had no problems. Now that we’ve moved to production, processor usage stays between 50-100% constantly. Using task manager I noticed that the csrss.exe process is using 20-30% of this, but when monitoring the process through performance viewer, the process is actually using the 50-100%.
We are running Dual 1.6 Xeon processors with 4 gigs of RAM. The system shouldbe able to handle whatever we throw at it. I noticed that our telnet clients open both an agent window, and a CMD.exe window. Could this be the problem? (Open’s approximately 30 sessions at one time) I found an MS KB article 126962. Will this help? If so what should the values be?
I really need some help on this one.. if anyone has a suggestion please let me know!!
