Problem with Page file error?

1.you should check if you have a sufficien
amount of available ram .
2.if you have only
one harddrive than you should put the paging
file on a partition other than the system partition.if you have more than one harddrive
you should move the paging file to that drive.
* if you dont have enough ram avalable i.e
you have 64 mega memory installd on your machine and it uses 120 mega than if you have
only one harddrive than it wont make any deferance how large the size of the paging
file is.
the easyest way to check the status of available ram is with task manager .

this can happen due to page file corruption also.i do not remember the microosoft article number , but it says make the page file size to zero and reboot the machine. then set the page file to the correct size(ram+12mb)or (ram+50mb).

hope it helps.

Check if yout page file is read only, if it is, disable read only flagg.
Also make sure that the system user has full access on this file.

Good luck,

If you have removed "Everyone" from access, this also removes "System", you need to add "System" back in having full access, then reset your page file and it will retain the setting.
