I have 2 usb connected to pc.
I checked and see both chdsks are ok.
One 7gig FAT usb (Active ,primary partition)

Sandisk 8 gig FAT usb (primary partition)
so my question is -why is the sandisk 8 gig -not Active ???
I tried changing the usbs in their socket- same reading just different drive letter.
if both File systems are ok – then why does the “sandisk 8 gig – Not display Active ????

Pity we can not uplaod screen shots here !!!

Active means that it’s bootable. Now it’s up to you to tell us why that one stick is bootable and the other isn’t.

      Doesn’t really matter yet.

I don’t see much about what these drives need to do. Bootable? Data backups?

Since we can reformat them or place bootable OSes on them, it’s all under our control.

Bottomline: Do the sticks do what you want?
