I have an HP dvn6000, with Vista Home Premium. I recently upgraded it to SP2, and after doing so, my browsing capabilities are no longer present. I have tried everything I know. I flushed dns, tried to repair files with SFC, and several other things. I don’t know what is going on. I can ping my router just fine, I can ping a website (Google) just fine. My computer knows it’s connected to the internet, but browsers don’t, I have tried and uninstalling my browsers and installing them again but it didn’t work either. If anyone can help, please do, I’m desperate, this is driving nuts.
