    Problems installing SSD into laptop

    hello, i have a laptop that is ungodly slow and i also have a spare SSD, i have installed it correctly and tried to put windows onto it but it does not get recognised in the windows creation interface, so i copied the old HDD data using software onto the SSD and this works for a minute (windows boots up but then crashes after about a minute on the desktop). does anyone have suggestions to help fix this problem – it is driving me mental. thanks
