Problems with the Techrepublic site and my account

Problem 1: When you click on the help link at the bottom of a page on your site it gives a page requested cannot be found screen. The same screen is displayed if you then click on the contact us link on that page.

Problem 2: even though the email address registered in my account is xxx.xxxxxxx@uk.fujitsu.com you are sending emails to the now defunct address of xxx.xxxxxx@services.fujitsu.com which no longer exists. Can you please correct this.

Hi TDA-John, there were problems yesterday with regards to the "page not found" issue. I reported it too and they were working on it.

You may want to double check your setting now and re-update your account information. Good Luck

There are still issues when I try to submit comments to threads. Same error about page not found. Guess that is why I am getting double posts.

Thanks for pointing out problem 1. I was not aware of those links being broken.

As for problem 2, that e-mail address is probably the one you registered on the site with back in 2002. You can change your e-mail address by clicking the "My Account" link at the top right on the TR site.

BTW, you may want to go back and edit out your e-mail address from your original post. Otherwise, crawlers may pick it up and you may get a lot of unwanted e-mail.

Problems still there...

Both the links initally reported are still broken, or at least I still view them as that.

This is particularly annoying as after I received the message shown below from your customerservice@techrepublic.com I am unable to contact your services....

Thanks for the advice about changing the email address in the message.

when I first registered I was using the services.fujitsu.com address but when we changed to uk.fujitsu.com I changed my email address in My Account. We continued to run both email addresses until recently when the services.fujitsu.com address was deleted. I now do not receive the newsletters despite the address shown in My Account being correct.

Somehow, somwhere TechRepublic is using the wrong email address for me.

The email address in My Account is the correct one
