can I change hard drive only to keep from buying new mainboard.I removed battery on board,removed ram & moved to another slot have anamioly with beeps.First a beep beep beep.I removed batery like techrepublic article said.pwred off on seversal beepsnow .unplugged all ram & 600AMD& removed batery now.have no beeps but blank screen. the virus was a browser looking like AOL download now to upgrade.nothing happened.I tried moving browser & multiple same window smeared screen. I should have left on cause off tips I’ve learned in working.I suspect an old employee cause he was building and editor browser window & could change Proxy of computer he was on to hide his identity.Ironicaly I was using TECHPRO to fix HOTKEYS to keephackers out.Iwrote down all h-keys before changing ‘but never could.this guys name is Craig Gilbert soulsteam.com website.a real sharp fellow,but I know sharper fellows.how can I prevent this again, will this other hardrive I have already to go work? or is Virsus still in old 64ram stick?
