Ok i am in the process of updating a NT4 domain to a 2003 AD domain, the NT4 domain is xyz.com the new domain will be xyz.local running 2003.
Now the profiles for the NT4 domain will have users profiles as user.xyz.com when the log into the new domain it will be xyz.local now this means all settings like email and what ever will not copy over whats the best way i can copy the xyz.com profile to xyz.local so i dont have to create the profiles again will it just be a case of renaming the xyz.com to local and if so would a script or bat file be best to do this?
Thanks

Are you referring to the local profiles on the PC, by chance, and not the domain user accounts on the server? And when you ask about email, I think I remember you mentioning in another post that you are moving to Exchange but what are you using at the moment and do you use Outlook as the email client? Let me know and I will try to help. Thanks.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
