program uninstall

I have Windows XP Pro and am unable to uninstall Creative Sound Blaster. I don’t see it in the ADD/REMOVE directory at all. I would like to reinstall it without rewriting over the files. When I click on the icon for the player it tells me it has a COM error. I have Wintv on my computer. I have removed both cards and uninstalled Wintv. I am still unable to see the Creative software. What is the issue here
