I have a problem with a small network of 4 windows workstations & 1 netware server.We have a cisco router from our isp for isdn access that keeps bringing up the isdn line when no one is using email or internet.
I have downloaded lots of diffrent software for monitiring the network (etherreal,net probe,analyzer etc.) but i can’t seem to see any packets other than those from my machine and broadcasts.
Supposedly the winpcap I installed sets the nic to promisuopus mode but it doesn’t seem to beworking,there is no switches everything is hanging of one hub !
Someone please help before the next phone bill comes in !!!!
