I am donig an NT 4 reinstall on an SNA server and I have hit a snag. Here are the steps so far. I formated the Boot drive as NTFS. Installed NT as a stand alone server. I installed service pack 3 then IE4. Next was the Nt option pack including IIS40. Next step was service pack 6 then Back Office. The only component I use from Back Office on this machine is SNA server. After the SNA install I upgraded to SNA service pack 3. All the while no problems. The problem came after I added HP jetadmin. On the reboot the protected storage service failed. I tried to reapply SP6 and the install hung at the end after rebooting I reapplied SNA SP3 but the operation would not complete because another application was using this process. I tried to stop that I could but still nothing has worked. Jet admin won’t uninstall either. am I in for another reinstall or is there a fix for this mess?
