I’m on a Macbook Air and currently running Mojave 10.14.6 using Safari Technology Preview as my default browser.

I’m having no end of trouble with various websites not wanting to load anymore (imdb, youtube, even the local ctvnews site won’t load anymore) https://vidmate.onl/

I’m hesitant to upgrade the thing to Catalina (I never like change lol). I used to let the Mac automatically update but now I’m reluctant to.

Any ideas as to why there’s so many recent issues?

To which we install Chrome and the problems pretty much vanish. Also we tend to load the latest Apple OS which for us is a non-event. However there are those are stuck at some OS version and browser for their own reasons.
