I have a client that had two SBS 2003 boxes on the same physical network with different domain names. One handles web and email, the other for QuickBooks Enterpise 8.0.
Believe it or not, remote users could hit the QB box, even though it was slow as molasses. They moved and now it can’t be hit at the new location.
I know it’s not supposed to be done, but it was working. Now they’ve asked me to straighten it out.
