I am experiencing a Quickbooks unrecoverable error in Quickbooks version 2012 & 2013 – the program will not open a company data file, however, the program will open. The problem didn’t occur until after an installation of either a Windows update, SQL update, or MSXL update. I have tried just about everything Quickbooks knowledge base has suggested with no avail. Has anyone experiencing this problem or have any suggestions to fix the problem? The laptop is a Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit.
