Quicken 2007 disables USB mouse

I have upgraded to Quicken 2007 , now my Microsoft USB mouse gets disabled when some dialogs open. Microsoft XP does not recogize the USB device until I reboot!
Very annoying *-(
Anyone have this experience or know of corrective solution?
