Quicktime 7.4.1 and Internet Explorer 7

it appears that quicktime 7.4.1 is not compatible with internet explorer 7. for example, i can’t view certain things on my myspace page. all i see is the quicktime symbol with a ? in the middle of it. also, i have a streaming audio player and that is now replaced by the quicktime symbol with a rip. is there something i don’t know? any reply is welcome…as long as it’s constructive. thanks.
