Radeon 9600XT 128MB S-Video Output

Hello. I understand the purpose of the Secondary Display. Now the problem is that I can never get it to work anymore. Yes, anymore. I used to connect it to my tv using an s-video -> composite converter cable, but now the tv screen just flashes and xp cannot detect that there is a device connected. I’ve tried multiple tv’s and vcr’s and various other devices. Any reason why it would stop functioning? I had a guess that the drivers where currupt but after a recent format, with new drivers installed and working perfectly, this does not.
