Here is the scenario: We want to add more space to our webserver that has been in use for 2 years now. Primarily we are adding more space because we are adding RBS services to a new IT company that I have started. We are using no RAID right now but are using acronis backup imaging. Here are the specs of the current system:
P4 HT 3.06GHz w/ 3GB RAM
Windows 2003 SP1
2 Partitions consisting of (C: 50GB for system; D: 450GB for data)
I would like to convert over to RAID without reinstalling the OS or other applications. I would think I would only be able to get an enclosure and a RAID card. Just need to know if I can do this with the following conditions. Also would like to know which card would be a good combination of quality and price. If you have any recommendations for enclosures that would be really helpful also. Thank you for your help in advance.
