Hi you may think this is simple but I am trying to mirror my IBM servers disks.I think I have succeeded but how the hell do you know for sure.Is there some test I can do to verify that the second disk would in fact take over after failure.
I copiedsome sytem files (boot.ini,ntdetect,ntldr)to a floppy edited the boot.ini to reflect the mirrored disk and rebooted using the floppy.It does’nt boot which is good (I think)but I really need to know if it will take over after primary disc failure.
Does it auto take over or is there some work to be done beforehand.Any help appreciated, & thanx for your time.
