Recouping a Waste of Disk Space

By Jonskin ·
Under Windows ME (probably 95/98 as well) the folder C:\_RESTORE and its subfolders, ARCHIVE and TEMP, accumulate a massive amount of wasted disk space. How can the files in these folders be deleted?

Does ME support "System Restore"? If so, disable it (probably through Control Panel -> System) and then try deleting the contents of the folder.

Had a look in Control Panel->System but could not find a way to delete the files in this [protected] folder.
