Recover email from reinstalled outlook

One of the employees reinstalled outlook xp on his machine, at the time, his machine was storing his email locally on that machine. He also installed it to the default location, so he did not overwrite anything, but deleted some of the other files.

How do i recover his mail from the previous installation if it was not exported? I cant find any pab or pst files. Im completely lost.
