Recovery of deleted email messages

A colleague asked if it’s possible to recover a
deleted email address in Outlook Express. It
was deleted to the Deleted Items folder and
then deleted from that folder. The question
remains, is it possible by extreme means to
recover any of those messages? My
colleague’s livelihood and reputation depends
on it.
