Recovery of Exchange Mailbox

Hi. I have the situation in a small office Windows 2000 network consisting of a single Domain Controller. The Domain controller also has Exchange 2000 standard edition installed. Unfortunately the system crashed and the person administering it reinstalled the system and therefore created the domain from scratch. At the same time the exchange server installation was destroyed and exchange was reinstalled. Prior to exchange being reinstalled the mailboxes were saved to a different partition. So what I’m asking is this. Is there any way of recovering the mailboxes from the old exchange installation?
