RedHat6.0 kickstart install

By robcne ·
I got RedHat 6.1 to do a kickstart install via the cdrom. I'm trying to do the same with 6.0, but it will not complete without manually entering the hostname, and the rest of the TCP/IP info. I'm using the same line that worked fine with 6.1, but itdoesn't contain any option that specifies a hostname. The network line reads:"network --bootproto static --ip x.x.x.x --netmask x.x.x.x --gateway x.x.x.x --nameserver x.x.x.x", but contains actual addresses and not the x's.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that the way I solved this problem was to download the latest boot disk image from RedHat. Downloading updated boot disk images also helped me get the 5.x versions to do automated installs as well.
