remembering a log-in

By john.a.wills ·
A while ago I thoughtlessly told Windows to remember a name and password for logging in to a particular web site. On reflection, I want to do the remembering myself. How do I make Windows forget the login information?

What browser are you using? In the internet options for IE7 there is an option for passwords you should be able to delete them there.

Seamonkey has something similar to IE, but easier to use: Tools/Password Manager/Manage Stored Passwords.

ccleaner

download www.ccleaner.com
run ccleaner and tick off all boxes except for boxes under "Advanced".

Click "run cleaner"

that should clean you up, system temp files and saved passwords.
