I have a dial-up pc that will not prompt for a domain choice at logon. I only get the username and password fields. What do I do to get that prompt? I’m obviously overlooking something. When I do logon and then dial-up our network, the user gets authenticated through the shiva modem and the firewall.I can ping by name & ip address, the pdc and exchange server. I can get to the internet. I cannot add the pc/user to the domain, nor add the correct domain to outlook so the user can get email service. I’ve added both pdc and exchange server to hosts & lmhosts. I cannot enter a WINS server address (it’s grayed out). What am I doing wrong? The OS is NT4, SP6a.
