I’m looking for suggestions and thoughts on managing laptops that do not regularly connect to our network. Areas of particular interest: forcing/requiring/pushing anti-virus updates and security patches (through dial-up connections to an ISP not our network), inventory management, and reducing TCO. Any other laptop management comments or questions welcome.
