    Would anyone please help me how to remove virus on Window XP Home Edition ?

      The method will depend on the virus. Go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/tools.list.html to download the necessary removal tool and follow the instructions. Remember to switch off system restore before you start, and when you’re done ensure that all security updates are applied and that you have a current virus checker and definitions installed.

      If you can still get to the Internet (don’t have Blaster), you can use McAfee’s free virus scan if you don’t have one at: http://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp?ErrCode=PLEASE_LOGIN
      You will have to create an account to access.
      they also have a utility called Stinger that finds a lot of today’s viruses that is free. You can find it at: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

      In today’s dirty Internet you must keep current with avirus scanner! Your computer will not survive if you don’t.
