Removing IE6 SP1

Does any have any idea how to remove IE6 w/ SP1 installed on XP, 2000, or any O/S? It’s been one of those things I’ve been very fed up with, because SP1 is having a lot of issue with one of our web applications, and becasue our customers generally get the lastest and greatest on their system like IE6 w/SP1, we are getting major complaints! Any ideas?
