I?ve inherited a W2K domain running Exchange 2000 SP2. Exchange is running on its own box. The problem I discovered is that any user running Outlook 2000 can open any other users folder (File->Open->Other User?s Folder?). I?ve made sure no one has any special permissions enabled in Outlook, and have checked the Mailbox Rights in AD. I did notice that the group Everyone has mailbox rights in AD, but I can?t remove the group because they are inherited from somewhere else. I?ve tried adding in my Staff group and denying them access to everything while at the same time adding the individual user and giving them rights to everything, but then they can?t open their own mailbox. I?ve even tried changing the security on the actual mailbox folders but Exchange won?t let me. Is there something I?m missing? Any help is appreciated.
