Re: Repair SQL server

Here's one possible reason:

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/0852c5a5-0a3f-45b9-b43e-12364f570c48/sql-database-recovery?forum=sql14tools
If that doesn't apply, then perhaps you can give some more information
- what are the source and destination of the data, are there any
column-level transformations, have you looked at row 100 of the source
data to see if anything is in a different format from row 99 etc. You
might also post to microsoft.public.sqlserver.dts to see if someone has
a better suggestion.

Easily remove DTS Errors

by Enriquemallon In reply to Repair SQL server

Hi KiriatMitskin

Well you are receiving wrong data at the row 1574. So if you want to check what is wrong you can go in the Transformation properties go to advanced tab there change the Max row count from 0 to 1000 or more then give the exception file name. Run the DTS package then check the exception file then you can see why row giving the wrong data.
Check all this stuff...
Just checkout from here:- http://www.sqlrecoverysoftware.net/sql-server-mdf-file/

This will only work if the SQL Server

by jackoboyle51 In reply to Repair SQL server

This will only work if the SQL Server was stopped when you copied the MDF file from the old SQL Server. If you copied the file while the SQL Server was running this file probably will not attach either and you will need to get a valid backup of the database. Download help tool for sql database - SQL Server Restore Toolbox. http://www.sqlserver.restoretools.com/ You can read up more on SQL Server here. http://www.filerepairforum.com/forum/microsoft/microsoft-aa/sql-server/498-creating-a-new-database-using-an- mdf-file?_=1416149856104
