Repairing Corrupted Zip File

By den_santiago ·
I currently testing Winzip 8.0 to extract a compressed file stored on 11 diskettes. The owner stored a 25MB file on those 11 disks using spanning feature of Winzip meaning during compression process he compressed it directly on the disks. My problem is the last disks seems to encountered a bad sector/block. I was wondering if there is still a possibilty to recover/repair that corrupted disk. I was able to repair the disk physically using Scandisk. But my problem is the file inside the disk. Is there any sofware/program that could repair the problem with Winzip? If the last disk is lost if there still a means to recover the rest of the disk's file. The file inside the compressed file is single MS-Word file that is 25MB in size. The error message I got from the last disk is: Invalid Compress Data to Inflate.
