Replacement for Norton Disk Doctor??

Can anyone recommend a replacement for Norton disk Doctor. I am looking at Disk Editor and Acronis Recovery Expert. I need something that can recover files from damaged disk and floppy. I don’t need software that will recover deleted files though this would be useful but is a secondary concern. ANy recommendations???
