A staff member received a new laptop for Christmas which has Windows XP-Home pre loaded.
He cannot connect to our NT/2000 network at work and needs to remove Xp from his laptop and replace it with a copy of Windows 2000-pro which he has purchased.
What steps should he follow in doing this and what are the pitfalls he should avoid? And can he do it in such a way as to retain any special-key functions installed by the manufacturer?
Thank you.
