Replicating local Access db on webserver

Purpose: To synchronize local and webserver database.
I have an local access database. I have uploaded the same on webserver to convert it to design master. However Access XP does not allow me to open the said database and convert it to design master. I created designmaster on local disk and upload it to webserver. However the synchrosization using Inetsynchronise does not take place because the local db does not have the www.xyz.com/mydb.mdb as stored path for design master. The hidden tables in access db does not allow me to edit path for synchronisation. Can somebody guide me???
