Resolving with ExServer2K remotely

I have setup a new exchange server 2000 and everthing seems to work within the local company lan. I would like for my remote users to attach to the exchange server, get email, and read public folders. The exchage server is using a static class c IP address. It is setting behind a Linksys DSL Router. I have tried several different variations for the remote user to attach with and so far nothing works. Locally, everything resolves, no problems. Remote users, no way Jose.
