As the subject says, I have a typical need on resource tracking and utilization in my company that runs plenty of IT Development projects.
My question: There are many simultaneously running software development projects in our company and I need to keep track of which resource is working on which project, and which resource is available for work from which time period. We do not have time to prepare the project plans in MPP, else it would have been easy to track. We do not make use of any timesheets either.
Only need to is to know which resource works in which project for how long and when will a particular resource is available to be assigned to any new projects.
I appreciate if I get help on using any tools for this, or any MS Excel templates …
