    Restarting career

    by manjulac16 ·

I have 3.8 years of experience in It industry as project engineer, due to some personal reason I left job in 2014, after that I did Hadoop course, but as I was fresher in Hadoop didn’t get job as everyone was asking for experience.

Then after that in 2018 I got conceived and now I am having 1.10 month twin kids, now I am planning to restart my career in IT, now my question is, as I have 6 years of career gap, if I try now will I get the job in IT sector? Please advice me..

      You have to try.

The usual is to get with some employment agency to find a match if you don’t have a few now.

Your question is poised as if there’s a sure job if you try but in today’s times that’s not a sure thing. So you are back to trying, applying until you find that job.

Hello there, I think it’s never too late to try again, maybe you struggle with the interview but you can do it. They might ask many questions about the 6 year gap in your career, but be honest and always say what’s the positive thing that happen to you. Also if you find a job, you must also practice a healthy time management and work balance. Best luck in your career!
