Restore Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003

Hello,

I want to migrate an Exchange2k Server to a sperate hardware where I will have Exchange 2003 Server installed. Will the backup from Exchange 2000 work when I restore it to the other different server running Exchange 2003?. This other server will also have Windows Server 2003 rather than Windows 2000 Server (Which is the OS on the Exchange 2000 Server).
