Restoring Public Folder in E2k

i am trying to restore deleted folders and messages in Public Folder Store in Exchange 2000. i use Veritas Backup Exec which says my restore is successful, but the deleted items are not reappearing. I can’t see what it might be that i’m not doing!Would be grateful for any suggestions, i have read the Disaster Recovery paper from Microsoft and can’t find any clues there.
