We are developing a data / analytics product. The industry is not ready to pay for a cloud based tool. So we have developed an excel based tool. Given that we are planning to charge a per user annual license fee we need to be able to prevent the excel tool being used on anyone elses computer. We think this is impossible but maybe there is a way using a USB storage disk or perhaps you know of another way that would at least make it troublesome to copy / share etc.
