Restricting Control Panel in NT 4.0?

By scage ·
I recently built a NT 4.0 terminal server. My users can access the control panel. How do I restrict it or at least some of its features?

No one have an answer? I thought this would be an easy one for one of you MSCE's.

you could

You could attain that goal in the registry hack. There are a lot of things you could do with it. You could hide the control panel or you could create a policy if you are connected in the network. You could even use the Kix scripting, but again thereis no straightforward answer to your question for the details are sketchy.

Anyway NT is history so you better upgrade to win2k and use the active directory feature.

Keep it simple stupid. There are tons of programs that can do that...without a registry hack (although I prefer the registry hack).

Try good ole System Mechanic. It can block the display settings, network, printers, and passwords icons.
