Restricting USB drives through GPedit

By wescrock ·
Hey there,

I need to know if there is a way to limit use of USB flash drives so that they can not install all those lame third party softwares that come on them?

Yes... I know there are ways to delete the software off of the drives themselves... and I would really like to do that... but I cant... because it isn't just 1 end user... its about 1500... So... yeah...

thanks.

Ok, to stop SW from installing, remove installation permissions, or restrict installations from happening.
I stumbled across a GP setting which handles this, although it seems quite complicated and you need to know what programs to block. Hopefully someone else has the answer for you.
